--- title: "Green web hosting, the friendly way" url: https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/ description: "Eco Green Hosting's original approach to friendly green web hosting, domain names, web-building tools and practical hosting packages." --- # Green web hosting, the friendly way Eco Green Hosting was created as a small, approachable hosting company serving individuals and businesses around Bath, Bristol and beyond. The original service brought web space, email, domain names and a simple website builder together in packages designed for different stages of a site's growth. Its aim was to make getting online less technical, less costly and more considerate of the resources behind every website. The greener hosting idea The company described its service as carbon-positive: emissions associated with its operations were calculated, then balanced by supporting additional tree planting. ## From the journal [01**8 Best Trolly.ai Alternatives for Bloggers and Affiliate Marketers**Oct 02, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/8-best-trolly-ai-alternatives-for-bloggers-and-affiliate-marketers/) [02**3 Top AI Autoblogging Tools for Content Optimization Workflows**Sep 30, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/3-top-ai-autoblogging-tools-for-content-optimization-workflows/) [03**Workflow Automation Software Pricing Guide: What You Should Expect to Pay**Sep 19, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/workflow-automation-software-pricing-guide-what-you-should-expect-to-pay/) [04**Shared Hosting vs VPS Hosting: A Practical Checklist**Sep 14, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/shared-hosting-versus-vps-hosting-a-practical-checklist/) [05**Best Tools for Selling on WhatsApp for Small Businesses in 2026**Sep 14, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/best-tools-for-selling-on-whatsapp-for-small-businesses-in-2026/) [06**Status Labs vs NetReputation: Public Relations**Sep 11, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/status-labs-vs-netreputation-public-relations/) [07**Complete Network vs Charlotte IT Solutions for Infrastructure Management**Sep 11, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/complete-network-vs-charlotte-it-solutions-for-infrastructure-management/) [08**8 Best Ritner Digital Alternatives for SaaS and Startup Teams**Sep 08, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/8-best-ritner-digital-alternatives-for-saas-and-startup-teams/) [09**Why Is Aristosourcing the Best for Permanent Direct-hires?**Aug 15, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/why-is-aristosourcing-the-best-for-permanent-direct-hires/) More [10**The 10 Best Books on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)**Aug 13, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/the-10-best-books-on-generative-engine-optimization-geo/) [11**Who's the Best for Assault and Domestic Violence: The Law Office of Shane Lewis vs Versus Texas**Aug 11, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/who-s-the-best-for-assault-and-domestic-violence-the-law-office-of-shane-lewis-vs-versus-texas/) [12**Who's the Best for Weapon and Federal Crimes: Cole Paschall Law vs Versus Texas**Aug 07, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/who-s-the-best-for-weapon-and-federal-crimes-cole-paschall-law-vs-versus-texas/) [13**Why Is Aristosourcing the Best for Cost-efficient Leverage?**Aug 04, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/why-is-aristosourcing-the-best-for-cost-efficient-leverage/) [14**Why Is Versus Texas the Best for Drug Crimes and Controlled Substances?**Aug 02, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/why-is-versus-texas-the-best-for-drug-crimes-and-controlled-substances/) [15**Why Is Aristosourcing the Best for Local Compliance and Software Tools?**Aug 02, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/why-is-aristosourcing-the-best-for-local-compliance-and-software-tools/) [16**Top 7 Alternatives of UpLead**Aug 01, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/top-7-alternatives-of-uplead/) [17**Tasks.Bot for Voice-to-Task: Why It's the Best Choice**Jul 31, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/tasks-bot-for-voice-to-task-why-it-s-the-best-choice/) [18**A Practical Guide to WhatsApp Business API for Ecommerce Stores**Jul 30, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/a-practical-guide-to-whatsapp-business-api-for-ecommerce-stores/) Earlier [19**Why Is Aristosourcing the Best for Real Estate Sector?**Jul 30, 2026](https://ecogreenhosting.co.uk/why-is-aristosourcing-the-best-for-real-estate-sector/) [20**Is BookYourData Legit?
